Khatia Antia

Khatia Antia is a scientist/researcher at the Department of Prevention and Evaluation at BIPS since February 2024. She contributes to project CHANGE, led by Professor Daniela Fuhr. This project aims to develop and implement a brief psychological intervention among conflict-affected populations in Uganda and Ukraine.

Khatia has a particular interest in migration and health, health inequities and mental health.During her doctoral studies at Heidelberg, she focused on the mental health impacts of labour migration on left-behind children in Eastern Europe. Khatia is a member of LANCET Migration European Hub, and at HIGH, she contributed to international projects enhancing global health education and research on migration and health.
