Welcome to the BIPS Research Data Portal
At BIPS, we are committed to advancing scientific knowledge and improving public health by providing high-quality epidemiological research data. Our Research Data Portal is designed to facilitate researchers worldwide with easy and efficient access to our growing collection of epidemiological data. By preparing research data according to the FAIR principles, we meet our ethical responsibility to share data for the best benefit of the scientific community and society. We are currently developing the application process, which will consist of the following steps:
Search & Explore
The Health Study Hub, developed in the framework of the NFDI4Health project, enables researchers to explore the growing BIPS collection of research data. It provides comprehensive metadata on studies and datasets as well as information about data dictionaries, questionnaires, instruments and much more. For a better understanding, the interactive IDEFICS/I.Family Dashboard provides you with a deeper insight into the IDEFICS/I.Family cohort data.
Register & Fill Form
The application process requires registration (under construction) on our portal and a request form (under construction). We strive to process all requests promptly, ensuring that you can start your research without unnecessary delays. Depending on the data requested, access to datasets tailored specifically to your research question will be granted either on-site at our Research Data Center or remotely (e.g. via DataSHIELD).
Get Support
We understand that most questions may require direct interaction. Our Data Transfer Point serves as your single point of contact for any inquiries or specific needs. Our dedicated team is on hand to provide you with all the information required to successfully apply and the support you need to make the most of our data resources.
Our registration and request process is currently under development. If you are interested in requesting access to our data, we are pleased to assist you. Please feel free to contact our Data Transfer Point.
