BIPS employs various measures to promote the compatibility of work and individual lifestyles. Since October 2014, BIPS has been certified for its family friendliness by the external audit called “berufundfamilie” (work and family). In 2016, the family-conscious personnel policy was further recognized by the Senate of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen and the charitable association Impulsgeber Zukunft e. V.
Some measures have been implemented at BIPS for many years now, such as flexible working hours, part-time work or family-friendly leave arrangements. Other offers such as a parent-child room were initiated by the audit called “berufundfamilie”.
