I.Family runs: BIPS-Staff to take part in the Burginsel run in Delmenhorst

The Burginsel run in Delmenhorst will this year take place for the 10^th time and I.Family, the follow-up project to the longstanding IDEFICS study, will be there. On the 15^th and 16^th of June, staff members of the project will take part in the 24-hour run in the city centre and will also inform the public about the study at the I.Family booth.

On both days, staff members of the I.Family study will offer bone stiffness tests to all interested persons. The test will be conducted in the BIPS mobile examination centre.

The runners start on Saturday, June 15 at 12 noon and have to keep up for 24 hours as a team. The I.Family team will be pleased if many colleagues and spectators come to watch the run and loudly cheer them on, even at night.

The Burginsel run is a charity event in support of the Delmenhorst organisation Gesundheit im Kindesalter (Health in childhood).
