Focus groups on digital health literacy of digitally non-affine groups

Description

Vulnerable groups such as older adults, adults with low education or low reading and writing skills, and adults living in rural areas are less likely to use digital devices, social media, health-related websites, or health apps. They also reported lower levels of digital health literacy than the general population.
As part of the planned study, focus groups will be conducted with digitally non-affine groups to investigate 1) the areas of digital health literacy in which difficulties exist, 2) barriers and obstacles to using digital health technologies and 3) how digital health technologies should be designed to be used by digitally non-affine groups.
