Patents applied for and granted, licenses issued, and option and transfer agreements are the focus of this path. Our research focuses on health determinants such as health behaviors, the living environment, biological and social factors, as well as on the prevention, early detection and safe treatment of chronic, non-communicable diseases. Our corresponding research results, data, and methodological tools are shared with the scientific community, with various stakeholders and with the general public in the spirit of open science. Our outputs are usually made available according to the Creative Commons licenses and made citable by, e.g., assignment of a DOI (digital object identifier). This enables users of our outputs to always specify their source.
