This refers to standardization processes for accelerated transfer into new products, services and procedures. With our increasing commitment to develop research data infrastructures according to the FAIR principles, we develop and provide services to researchers to permanently store, semantically enrich, and share data in an interoperable form and to merge data from different sources. The specific challenges of improving the possibilities for the scientific re-use of personal health data while maintaining their confidentiality are addressed by us in co-leading the NFDI4Health and by the future work of our new extraordinary item of expenditure (Cross-departmental Center for Research Data Infrastructure and Data Science in Epidemiology).
