Dr. Dorothea Schönbach

Dr. Dorothea Schönbach did her Bachelor’s degree in “Sport and Health in Prevention and Therapy” at the German Sport University Cologne in 2015, Master’s degree in “Sports and Movement in Childhood and Adolescence” at the Institute of Sports and Sports Science of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in 2018, and her doctor’s degree in the ERASMUS+ funded project "ACTS - Promoting active travel to school in Europe" at the Department of Sport and Health Sciences of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in 2021. For her dissertation, she received the Diversity Award from her department at TUM in 2022. Since 2022, she is a habilitation candidate working in the ACTS project as well as the Horizon 2020 funded project "GoGreenRoutes" at TUM and a research assistant at BIPS working in the project "Healthy Dads, Healthy Kids" funded by the Federal Ministry of Health.
