Bremen Colloquium Epidemiology – Public Health with Dr. Jessica Rohmann

As part of the Bremen Colloquium Epidemiology – Public Health, a lecture by Dr. Jessica Rohmann (Research Associate, Institute of Public Health, Charité) will take place on Tuesday, January 23. She will discuss how causal inference methods are applied in stroke research and the insights gained from these approaches.

Lecture Title:
“Opening the Front Door & Other Lessons from Applying Causal Inference Methods in Observational Stroke Research.”

The lecture will be held in English and is scheduled from 12:15 to 1:45 PM in Room 1.550 at the Leibniz Institute for Prevention Research and Epidemiology – BIPS, Achterstraße 30, Bremen.

Dr. Jessica Rohmann completed her PhD in the "Advanced Track" program at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin with her thesis "The Role of Hypercoagulability in Neurovascular Disorders: Insights from Clinical Epidemiology." Currently, she is a PostDoc in the "Peerspectives" project, an initiative for training peer-review methods in biomedical sciences. Previously, she served as Head of Epidemiology at the Center for Stroke Research Berlin (CSB) and Strategic Advisor at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine.
