Conference of the "Healthy City Bremen" Research Cluster

With the framework concept of the "Healthy City" in Europe (WHO European Healthy Cities Network) an international vision is available, which aims at the reduction of health inequalities, good governance and the consideration of health or health promotion in all sectors. On 01.12.2023 the meeting of the research cluster "Healthy City Bremen" will take place.

What makes a city healthy?

This year's event is organized by the Research Cluster to discuss the topic of Healthy City from different perspectives together with experts from the state/city of Bremen and scientists (3 universities).

Dr. Nathalie Röbbel (Head of UrbanHealth, Department of Social Determinants of Health, WHO) will open the program with a keynote that provides an international overview before we focus on the state of Bremen with impulses from Bremen and Bremerhaven from Ronny Möckel (Head of Office Health Department Bremerhaven) and Dr. Jörn Moock (Head of Office Health Department Bremen).

"News" from the research landscape in the state of Bremen, will show flashes of current topics, presented will include the state of research. The resulting panel discussions offer enough potential for an interesting exchange in the subsequent get-together.
