NFDI4Health Services Showcase (Part 2)

NFDI4Health is building an infrastructure that not only makes health research data accessible, but also ensures that it can be effectively integrated into research practice. The Open Friday Lecture will present an NFDI4Health key services: the German Research Data Portal for Health (FDPG).

NFDI4Health develops and operates a technical infrastructure for FAIR health data. Its aim is to make health research data findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable, while ensuring compliance with data protection requirements and ethical standards. In addition to providing technical solutions, NFDI4Health supports researchers through consultancy, support and training services. To familiarise the research community with these offerings, NFDI4Health is presenting its services in a series of events.
This session will focus on an NFDI4Health key services: the German Research Data Portal for Health (FDPG), an online portal for central and transparent data request. Participants will gain insights into the functionality and practical applications of the service, experience live demonstrations, and have the opportunity to put their questions directly to our experts. Further sessions introducing additional NFDI4Health services will follow.

Our speaker: Dr. Marie Gebhardt holds a Ph.D. in biotechnology with a focus on molecular biology and bioinformatics and works in the Data Sharing division at the TMF office. She is the project manager for the German Research Data Portal for Health (FDPG) and, since 2025, has served as co-lead of the Services Task Area in the NFDI4Health project.
