Dr. phil. Sarah Forberger

Seit 2015 bin ich wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Leibniz-Institut für Präventionsforschung und Epidemiologie BIPS in der Abteilung Prävention und Evaluation; seit 2021 bin ich Senior Researcher am Institut, und seit 2023 Senior Research Fellow an der University of York.

Meine Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen in der Implementierungs- und Gesundheitspolitikforschung mit besonderem Augenmerk auf der Interaktion zwischen System/Setting und Intervention und der Rolle von Kontextfaktoren sowie der Anwendung von Ansätzen der Verhaltensforschung in den Bereichen Ernährung, Bewegungsförderung und Substanzkonsum (insbesondere rauchfreier Tabak). Ich verbinde individuelle Interventionen zur Verhaltensänderung mit der Erforschung der Frage, wie das Umfeld und andere wichtige äußere Einflüsse gestaltet werden können, um den Menschen ein gesundes Leben zu ermöglichen.
Von 2005-2015 arbeitete ich am Lehrstuhl für Suchtforschung, Abteilung Klinische Psychologie und Psychotherapie an der TU Dresden. In dieser Zeit war ich wissenschaftlicher Leiterin der European Graduate School in Addiction Research (ESADD) und Projektkoordinatorin zahlreicher EU-Projekte im Bereich der Sucht- und Gesundheitsforschung.
Ich habe einen Master-Abschluss in Politikwissenschaft, Informatik und Geschichte von der Technischen Universität Dresden (TU Dresden) und einen Doktor in Health Policy zum Thema der Umsetzung europäischen Gesundheitspolitik durch Soft Law.
