Dr. phil. Sarah Forberger

Meine Forschungsinteressen liegen vor allem im Bereich der Implementations - und Gesundheitspolitikforschung, mit einem besonderen Fokus auf Policy Implementation Science. Mich fasziniert besonders das dynamische Zusammenspiel zwischen Systemen, Umgebungen und Interventionen. Meine Arbeit wird von einem starken Interesse an der Erforschung kontextueller Faktoren (Strukturen) angetrieben, um einen gesunden Lebensstil zu fördern. Dies umfasst Themen wie Ernährung, die Förderung körperlicher Aktivität und die Tabakkontrolle.
Seit 2015 arbeite ich am Leibniz-Institut für Präventionsforschung und Epidemiologie BIPS. Seid 2021 bin ich Senior Scientist. Zusätzlich bin ich seit 2023 als Gastwissenschaftlerin an der Universität York am Forschungszentrum IMPACT.
Vor meiner Tätigkeit am BIPS war ich von 2005 bis 2015 am Lehrstuhl für Suchtforschung im Fachbereich Klinische Psychologie und Psychotherapie an der TU Dresden tätig. In dieser Zeit war ich wissenschaftlicher und Projektleiter und habe zahlreiche EU Gesundheitsforschungsprojekte koordiniert.
Meinen Master-Abschluss in Politikwissenschaft, Informatik und Geschichte habe ich an der Technischen Universität Dresden (TU Dresden) erworben. Mein Doktortitel in Gesundheitspolitik befasste sich mit der Umsetzung europäischer Gesundheitspolitik durch weiche Rechtsinstrumente (Soft Law).
